Terms of Service

By using Quoted (quoted.love), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The Service

Quoted provides a platform for collecting customer testimonials and displaying them on your website via embeddable widgets. We offer free and paid plans with different feature limits.

Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or collect through Quoted, including project settings and testimonial data. You grant us a license to host, display, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service (e.g., displaying approved testimonials through the widget).

You are responsible for the content displayed through your widgets and pages. You must have appropriate rights or consent to display testimonials publicly.

Testimonial Submissions

People who submit testimonials through your collection forms consent to their submission being reviewed by you (the project owner). They understand that their name, title, company, photo, and review text may be displayed publicly if you approve the testimonial.

Their email address is never displayed publicly and is only visible to the project owner.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Create fake or misleading testimonials. Use the service for spam or harassment. Attempt to access other users' data. Reverse engineer or scrape the service. Use the service for anything illegal. Overload our systems with excessive automated requests.

The Widget

The embeddable widget is provided as-is. We make reasonable efforts to ensure it is fast, lightweight, and does not interfere with your website. However, we are not responsible for any issues caused by the widget on your site. The widget loads asynchronously and should not block your page rendering.

Free plan widgets include a "Powered by Quoted" badge. Removing this badge without a paid plan is a violation of these terms.

Early Access

During early access, all features are available for free. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans and feature restrictions at any time. We will give reasonable notice (at least 14 days) before any changes that affect your current usage.

Paid Plans

When paid plans are introduced, payments will be processed through a third-party payment provider. Plans are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time — your plan remains active until the end of the billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

Service Availability

We aim to keep Quoted available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control. We will communicate planned downtime in advance when possible.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

Limitation of Liability

Quoted is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or through a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
