Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address, name, and profile photo (if you sign in with Google). We use this to provide and manage your account.

Testimonial data. When someone submits a testimonial through your collection form, we store the content they provide: their name, title, company, email (if provided), star rating, review text, and photo (if uploaded). This data is stored on your behalf.

Usage data. We use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool, to understand how people use our website. Umami does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We see aggregate page views and events only.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, maintain, and improve our service. Send you notifications about new testimonials. Respond to your questions and support requests. Prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not share your information with third parties except as necessary to provide the service (e.g., email delivery via our SMTP provider).

Testimonial Data and Public Display

Testimonials submitted to your project are stored privately by default (status: pending). Only testimonials you explicitly approve become publicly visible through your widget or Wall of Love page. You can reject or delete testimonials at any time.

The email address of the person submitting a testimonial is never displayed publicly. It is only visible to the project owner in the dashboard.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Uploaded files (photos) are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We use HTTPS for all data transmission.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party cookies.

Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. You can export your testimonial data. You can request information about what data we hold about you. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@quoted.love.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Google OAuth — for sign-in authentication. Subject to Google's privacy policy. Maileroo — for sending transactional emails. Umami — for privacy-focused website analytics (no personal data collected).
